LET'S PLAY // RC Super Bowl Spot

What started out as a social media effort to promote the Lexus RC, we teamed up with Japan's legendary Drift44 to pull off some versatile stunts behind the wheel of a 1/10-scale RC car. After the stunts were posted to social channels (Facebook, Twitter, Vine and Instagram), the responses were incredible. Comments poured in, and there was a dramatic spike in social shares that organically drove over 600k video views in just two days. That led to a 0:30 Super Bowl spot, featuring the same stunts done by the remote control car, as well as the real Lexus RC 350. To keep the fun going, we put together a long form video, revealing more stunts and aggressive drifting done by both cars.
