Intel’s latest vision processing unit (VPU) represented one of the biggest launches in the brand’s history. As the world’s first VPU with an integrated neural compute engine (fancy phrase for A.I./deep learning), devices powered by Movidius’ Myriad X now have the capability to think, understand their surroundings and react to the world around.
Tasked to create a launch campaign highlighting the VPU’s capabilities, use cases and device integration, the story needed to be told using compelling visuals and engaging content. By pairing motion graphics with live action footage and inventive sound design, the culmination of these parts introduced one of Intel’s most successful product launches and highest viewed videos to date. Supported by additional video cut-downs and static imagery used on social and PR channels, metrics proved the audience believed the content was both engagement and share worthy.
